The Bridges

The Bridges

Kevin sent me this fine photo of the Tyne Bridges with a few vessels in view. Can anyone identify the freighter at the Guildhall?

The tug coming down river is the GNAT of Consett Iron Company. See http://www.tynetugs.co.uk/hero1888.html for details.

The funnel colours suggest Bergen Line, but not unique to them.

Good thinking N,E, but you are a band missing, Bergen Line had three bands, A more likely one is Finska, Finland line who operated a service until the quaysides run down.
