This view is from a postcard, postmarked 04/10/1927, showing the Jarrow ferry landing and some Tyne Improvement Commission vessels.
The vessels must be berthed opposited the TIC yard at Howdon. In the background is probably the yard of Northumberland Shipbuilding Co Ltd.

A detail from the card showing the TIC vessels more clearly.

TIC NO 16 was built as RTC NO 16 by Stephenson & Co at Hebburn in 1902.
TIC NO 7 was apparently built as NO 7 by William Simons & Co at Renfrew, also in 1902. However she should be a bucket dredger according to Miramar??

This is the vessel alongside at Northumberland Shipbuilding Co Ltd.

A name of six letters could be CADORE, TACITO, FANTEE, CONDOR, AMICUS & CAMPUS around this time.

Dave there was an earlier RTC No.7 which presumably became a TIC

Thanks George, I should have checked MNL.
TIC NO 7 was built as you say in 1864 by Wingate and TIC DREDGER NO 7 was built in 1902. Miramar hasn't got it quite right.
