Early bird

I had been banging on for some time about paying an early morning visit to the coast in the hope of seeing and recording a nice sunrise. This led to my better half announcing she had booked us into the Little Haven Hotel for a few days last week
I couldn't complain therefore when she shook me awake just before 5am on Wednesday morning, putting a cup of tea in front of me and saying there's a lovely sunrise out there for you, and by the way a ship is just about to pass the piers!
So it was that a half dressed photographer could be seen pointing his equipment out of the window of room 120 as CITY OF ROTTERDAM arriving from Gothenburg made a leisurely entrance into the river heading for TCT 2

Great photos from a great hotel - we've had room 216 on a couple of visits - photos out of the window instead of out in the rain/wind/snow.
