The Tyne at Newcastle

The Tyne at Newcastle

Another postcard emailed to me by Kevin Blair, this one showing the Tyne at Newcastle in about 1930 (card posted 22/09/1932).
On the left is BELLE MARIE built by Pickies at Southwick in 1924. Then a TIC mud hopper (probably) in mid river. On the Newcastle bank I can see a Cairn Line with two tugs outboard. Nearer the camera is I think NEW LONDONER built by Irvine at Hartlepool in 1912. In front of her is a wooden steam wherry with the name just out of focus.
If anyone wants a section enlarged, the file sent to me by KB is 2500px wide.
