There is a first time for everything, so they say. Today for the first time ever I wasn't able to set foot on the Groyne at South Shields, because of the traffic would you believe! :lol:
It's good to see that work is in hand at the Groyne to remedy damage caused by recent stormy weather
Todays strong winds didn't prevent the sailing of VB BEVER and her tow CABLE ENTERPRISE, destination Piikkio, Finland

Certainly an interesting looking vessel, apparently built like that rather than a conversion, if you saw her on the horizon you would be wondering why she was running Astern.
