Pallion & Cornhill

Wear tugs PALLION & CORNHILL. PALLION was built by Richard Dunston at their Thorne yard in 1944 as TID 72. She spent most of her life on the Wear until being broken up there in 2008. CORNHILL was American built in 1943 and served some 30 years on the river for France, Fenwick Tyne & Wear. She was eventually broken up in 1996.
