Inboard is CARNSIDE loading colliery waste from the Monkwearmouth pit. Outboard, don't know. Doesn't seem to match with ORLANTO. Ahead is the SIMONSIDE as posted previously. Any offers for the outboard vessel?

Bit of a puzzle Dave, LR Shipowners 1959 and 1964 show only the other three. Looks like M.....LT (?) and possibly a Newcastle registry .... have checked ex TIC hoppers without success.
We need some local knowledge from Sunderland ....

The only other one they had as far as I can see was MILLSIDE.
1921 592 Gross.

Does that match on the original, Dave.

I think that must be her Paul, see her as T.I.C.18 already in the Tyne port craft section!
Carney took her in 1965 and broken up 1972 so coincides with the period of CARNSIDE.

The original is a crappy little 2.5 inch square photo, so the scan is the best there is. I'll have a go at scanning more detail.

MILLSIDE it is, I'm sure. Well done Paul.
