I have her built at Berwick in 1969 for Andrew Buchan and others, Peterhead, but its not a match.

I have found another FAVONIUS PD17 ex ASPIRE FR793 built by Macduff Shipyards in 1997, could it be her??

Hello,

I have a record of three vessels named PD17 FAVONIUS. I am sure this one is the vessel built at Berwick in 1969.
There is a photograph of her fitting out at Berwick on the Berwick Shipyard website.

http://www.berwickshipyard.com/Fishing%20Vessels.html

In the photo she has had a partial shelterdeck fitted. She later had a three-quarter shelterdeck fitted which substantially altered her appearance.
There is a photo of her having the shelterdeck fitted at

www.scran.ac.uk/000-000-504-031-C

Both the other two with the same name are on the Scottish Built ships database - complete with photos. Go to

https://www.clydeships.co.uk/

and search Favonius. As you can see they are different vessels.

R.

Thanks Richard, the topic has sailed from Thorne and arrived at Berwick!
