And Crew.

I don't think I would have liked to be onboard with the sea's we have had over the past week or so.

We will all have our own thoughts as to how she got there in the first place.

Danio

Postby Tynesider » Thu Mar 28, 2013 10:05 pm

The Danio was refloated at 03.00 this morning and after a slow but steady tow down the coast by the tug Lomax she is now in Blyth tucket up the top corner.

I am sure many will be relieved especially the wild life on the Farnes!

They eventually got her in about 18.45 hrs, passing Alcan about 19.15 hrs.

Was a bit dark by then so pictures may not be fantastic........just downloading them now.

Danio, Lomax and Phoenix Cross, 3.2 Miles off Blyth in fading light.

Entry was held up as the Phoenix Cross could not leave the Tyne until after 15.00 hrs, then they had trouble coupling up and establishing how she was going to tow.

Fortunatly the DANIO could still use her Bow Thrust.
