This former Research Vessel RV AORA, became AORA and is now RACHEL CARSON and registered in Seattle, Washington in the United States. She is photographed here at Hartlepool Fish Quay. The skipper told me that she is expected to leave in about a week to sail to Southampton. There she will be loaded onto a larger ship and transported to the USA.
