Yep, he asked me if I'd taken photos of it.... I hadn't.

I sent him two photos by email and, as yet, he hasn't responded.

Maybe he's still in the bar of the Red Lion in Redcar High Street.
Or lived behind it in Red Lion Street, we were next street down.

I got a reply to my email (s). He said he'll reply in detail, when possible, as he's working in difficult conditions!

In the hay days when various Plants were being built on Teesside the Red Lion was the place to go if you wanted to get into the big money Contracting game and make the right connections, the place was full of "Champagne Charlie's"

I'm advised that she is the former Liverpool Pilot Vessel 'Osprey'.
