Chinese wind farm parts

Okiana arriving on the Tees on 31/03/2023 direct from Jiangyin in China with windfarm blades for Able's Seaton Channel base.

And sailing again an hour later. The pilot aborted the docking as they could not control the ship in the northerly wind enough to navigate the narrow Seaton Channel. She is now awaiting better weather for a new attempt.

Is this the largest vessel yet to use the Seaton Channel?

No idea what the Dredged depth or the width of the Channel is these days, as you are most probably aware there have been some large Barges with Oil Rig Modules for scrapping been taken up there in the recent past. The Dredging of the Channel was the domain of the TCC No 10 Dredger in the 1950''s/60's and on a Summers day it was a great place to be working, however it does get very windy and when the fog came down you were stuck aboard and your Dinner was in the Dog by the time you got home in time for Breakfast.
Possibly a reroute for this vessel to Hull?

You picked a fine day for the Gare, Richard!
At 212.5m and 38910gt, can't imagine anything larger up there, hope she makes it on second attempt.
p.s. down for 12.45 tomorrow 2 April.

I doubt it, too big for Hull (even Werner Quay) and no space for those blades as the dock is full of them waiting to go out.
