Help!

The history shown above was extracted frtom Miramar.
However, checking back in my personal records, working from Lloyds Registers at the relevant times, I have the OREPTON becoming the MARITIHI in 1973 and then broken up the next year. This is confirmed by various entries in Marine News and by the book BRITISH BULK CARRIERS.

Miramar show the OREDIAN as the one becoming MARITIHI but then not scrapped until 1981. My records show that she was renamed MARICHANCE and broken up the following year. For this I have no cross-references to other publications. Miramar record the OREPTON as the one becoming MARICHANCE and broken up 1974.

Teesbuilt follow Miramar, so can anyone clarify which are the corrct details for these two locally-built ore carriers, please.

In the book FURNESS WITHY 1891-1991 by David Burrell, shows OREDIAN renamed OREDIAN STAR-71,MARICHANCE-73
broken up 1974.
