The only NEM connection is the name, famous in early railway history in our region!

But, you don't see many modern utility vessels looking like this!!

GEORGE STEPHENSON (9405045), Cayman Islands, 119gt, completed Krimpen a/d Ijssel/Krimpen 7-2013

Additional information submitted by Willem Kruit to the Facebook group Shipspotting: Merchant shipping, Tugs, Cruiseships, Ferries:
She was built by a steam enthousiast – the owner of a steam boiler rental company. During her construction almost all materials were salvaged from old ships and other historical materials.
The engine was salvaged from a Clyde puffer, the beams in the engine room were part of a Rotterdam bridge - complete with WWII bullet holes.

This one is in English.

Cannot quite work out how it all comes together. In the upper Engine Room, she has a steam engine and in the lower one twin Gardners. All GREAT STUFF.
