I wonder if the traffic will increase from the Tees to the Continent if the prediction of serious delays at Dover will take place after December?

Still going strong after 47 years. Appears to be trading between Koper, Slovenia and Trieste. Apart from a couple of blips she seems to have been well maintained over the years. Very sensible sailing times from her days on the Tees, decent nights sleep and no need to get up early.

Let's hope that all the East/NE ports can benefit, but equally that the delays on the Channel will not be as bad as feared, why send your truck on its way if you are not 100% that it has all the paperwork.

As long as the Office know what paperwork is required, when the lad flew out to his ship he normally flies from Teesside to Amsterdam and then wherever in the World his ship is, this time it was in Singapore after a Drydocking, when he arrived at Teesside he picked up his Office arranged tickets from the desk showing the end of his journey would be Singapore, however when he got to the Boarding Check In they asked him for his Landing Pass for Singapore (now required due to Covid-19) oops no, "well you can't board the aircraft", phoned his Office in England they knew nothing about it so his journey was delayed 24hrs. Good job his ship had not sailed in the meantime.
I have no doubt that in the Dover situation the French will either go on a go slow or even go on strike so that Macron can blackmail us for more money, the British Taxpayer has already paid a fortune for security fencing around the Port of Calais. :x

The Palau Register is one of those also used by EU Shipowners to avoid the strict rules on ship scrapping by the EU ( the Germans being one of the main offenders) the flag being changed to Palau just before scrapping in Breakers that leave a lot to be desired.
