50 YEARS AGO TODAY!

Middlesbrough Dock - 9 May 1973:

At the time I had a colour film in the camera which needed finishing (first view) and the second view is a new scan from the original negative of the view above.

Looking at my note books this date seems to mark the rekindling of my interest in ships following a couple of years in relative doldrums so far as ship observing activity was concerned.
