WARLIGHT

Seen here in Middlesbrough Dock in 1971, the WARLIGHT was built at Faversham in 1932 as the GOLDEVE. Can anyone recall why she came to the Tees or where she went afterwards ??

Harry,

Found a reference to the WARLIGHT online which linked to her mention in Roy Fenton's recent book COASTERS - AN ILLUSTRATED HISTORY. He says "She ended her days working for a civil engineering contractor under the name TEAMWORK and was broken up in 1976." Wonder if she was already engaged in similar work in coming to Middlesbrough Dock? She became the TEAMWORK in 1972 according to Miramar.

Alastair MacKenzie has her with Ross & Marshall until 1974 but clearly his entry needs updating, will advise him. Miramar has broken up 1976.
