I thought initially I could make out her name as beginning with VISTA and having found a photo to confirm the possibility quite confidently captioned this view as being the VISTAVAGGE. Looking at it afresh now I am not so sure and think it could just as well be one of several sisterships the VIRIHAURE. I suspect we will never be able to confirm the exact vessel concerned???

Albert Weller took this photo on the Tees of a Grangesberg-Oxelosund ore/oil carrier on this occasion in service as a tanker.
I thought initially I could make out her name as beginning with VISTA and having found a photo to confirm the possibility quite confidently captioned this view as being the VISTAVAGGE. The name looks like VIRIHAURE to me.
