IMO = 6622317 and renamed WILLAURIE in 1980. However, I am somewhat uncertain as to her eventual fate as I have differing accounts from different sources, namely: internet - 1989 sank after storm damage Nassau, Bahamas (or Sea Web = total loss 2001). Anyone know more or better, please?

My own previous sightings of him/her. Sorry, they are not great scans!!

In Central Dock, Hartlepool, on 25 May 1974 (the first view greatly enlarged from original negative):

Mmmmmm

Yes Marine News supports her sale to Wilfred B Hart, Bahamas and renaming to WILLAURIE and then the trail goes COLD!

Poor thing never even made it to Miramar, even though she was in Mr Lloyds Big Book.

Mainly because Rodger at Miramar initially worked from the Starke/Schell registers which generally did not cover ships of under 500gt. From my own regular use of Miramar I have noted the content gradually being improved and he is now catching a lot of smaller ships .... but, as with most of our own individual research projects, it will be a never-ending task!

The following from Rodger at Miramar: Lloyd's Sea-Web says she was a total loss in 1988. If it was through weather-damage, the exact date may not be available - certainly LR doesn't give one and I can't find any reference in WSS Marine News. She will be listed on Miramar from next upload.

50 YEARS AGO TODAY!

The first photo taken while enjoying a ports trip on the PAGHAM. The others shown above were taken later in the day when we had returned to Hartlepool.
