I see new member Glewy has put in his "reason for joining NEM":

"I am the new owner of Sirius M, a motor cruiser built in the 1970s and 80s by Bill Key in his garden in the north-east. I've seen a few posts on here from a couple of years ago when a previous owner was trying to find out more about the vessel. Would like to get in contact with the builder, if he is still about and in good health"

Anyone help?

I am not in contact with Bill but may be able to get hold of him sometime...stress sometime.
He is a quiet person and doesn't communicate much externally......we shall see.

Thanks Dave and Geoff. I have emailed Geoff with my details should Bill be available any time.

Many thanks,

Have advised Gareth directly of situation at present. It may be that I will be able to meet up with Bill at a family event and would communicate with Gareth again thereafter.

In case the present or future owners make contact through the Forum again....I was with Bill at the weekend and he doesn't appear to have any interest in discussing his boat anymore. He had spoken to the previous owner,by phone, but he knows the boat is in Brighton and that is it. I had indicated to Gareth, present owner I believe, that this may be the case.
