Thanks Michael, have added her to the Tees-built website, I presume she's off to somewhere else for fitting out.

Hello, I have done a little googling and............

Macdonald Offshore have a contract with Parkol Marine at Whitby to build 5 fishing vessel hulls over a two year period, a £1.85mn project.
SUMMER ROSE is a 100t scalloper and is Yard No. 42 in the Parkol list. The main engine and auxiliaries have been installed prior to launching into the Tees.
The wheelhouse is currently under construction at Whitby, I expect she will be towed to Whitby shortly to be completed.
The Parkol website has detailed information on weekly progress of the build.

Designed by Ian Paton of SC McAlister & Co Ltd, the round bilge hull has main dimensions of LOA 20.3m, registered length 16.49m, beam 7.4m, depth moulded 4.05m and draft 4.8m.

Indeed she was built as a sub-contractor job as Whitby were full order booked.

Good outcome to share the work around and keep it in The Democratic People's Republic of Yorkshire (just!).
