When I saw the little vessel EIGUN entering Tees Dock on 25 October 1980 I had no idea how significant a sighting she was! It turned out she had been built only a short distance away at Smith's Docks, South Bank. For her full history see: http://www.teesbuiltships.co.uk/smiths/ ... ii1949.htm
