Built as the FORT LAVERNOCK by Colby Bros at Lowestoft in 1920

It's taken at Blyth, the tower in the background is still there and the staithes behind her are now the Alcan berth or ship unloading facility. Take your pick it rarely handles ships now as the Lynemouth smelter is closed and what little comes in is/was railed up to Fort William having come round the top of Scotland from Augnish in the Irish Republic
