WIND INNOVATION

Postby creemaster » Wed Jul 03, 2019 8:23 pm

Arrived at Battleship Wharf early hours of Monday from Eemshaven.
She is noted as in for a cargo of rocks which I doubt is accurate as she is a walk to work vessel with a capability for 80 single cabins with option of 105 beds available for charterers (Single cabins with en-suite bathroom, internet, TV, desk and wardrobe) and has reception, restaurant, welfare cinema, game room, fitness room, TV lounge, offices, meeting room.

Graham

It's Sunday Morning and confession time, I must admit I was not a very keen Whirlybird passenger especially after I watched an interview many many years ago with that great American Test Pilot Chuck Yeager who said something like " if you have not already had a crash in a Helicopter you will have one in the future". Unfortunately my Nephew had one in the North Sea and although not physically injured it certainly affected him mentally for a very long time which affected is job prospects if a Helicopter was involved. Both of us would have preferred a W2W (Walk to Work) vessel like this. All the comforts of home and then just a walk up the Gangplank to work.
