Blyth Submarine Base

A photo of the Submarine Base in the South Harbour at Blyth. The photo is named TITANIA which I am sure relates to the depot ship on the right rather than the young lady with the push chair in the foreground. Quite a few subs there on both sides of the photo.

Probably taken on the same day is HMS Vulcan a torpedo boat depot ship built at Portsmouth in 1889.

They were actually issued as Post Cards.

Checking the Dates when they were both at Blyth, the picture must have been taken between March and June 1919.

George,

The second picture is "Her" but NOT at Blyth.

Could be Portsmouth.
