A rare vist, for me, to Blyth (we had been up north at a wedding in Newbiggin area the day before!)

Oh, OK, got my geography and memory wrong!! It was at Linden Hall, Longhorsley, just north of Morpeth!!!!

ARKLOW WILLOW sold to Canadian owners in June 1916 and is now FLORENCE SPIRIT, Arklow's website only has ARKLOW WIND as the only one under their ownership.
Nice looking ships, same bracket as Stevie's 'D's and you have to wonder why they, Stevie's, did not have them built for themselves or chartered from Arklow. If they did them perhaps Stevie's might have still been in business. WILLOW, WIND and WAVE certainly got around. The newer M class are bigger but still as pleasing on the eye.
