The Norwegian motorship THURSO maintained a regular service between Norway and Whitby for several years. The ship was built in 1972 at Trondheim.

In 2001 sold and became GONCALO, now St Vincent and Grenadines flag. Reported by Equasis as recently as the 16th of this month in Venezuela with various dificiencies, but not detained.
