A list of Ships Built by Turnbull and Son at the Whitehall Dockyard, Whitby.
while building at this yard stared around 1850 my own records start in 1879 so here goes.

Tons : 1205n / 1872g
Dim : 273.5- 34.5- 24.5
Engine : Compound 2cyl 170hp by Blair & Co, Stockton On Tees.
Built for James Gray Whitby for the Atlantic and Indian trades.
Sold 1897 to D.Ellerhusen & Co, Registered Bergen Norway.
Broken UP : September 1904

Iron Screw Steamer Brigantine Rigged.
Tons : 922n / 1445g
Dim : 243.0- 33.0- 22.0
Engine : Compound 2cyl 130hp by Blair & Co, Stockton On Tees.
Built for Thomas Turnbull for the Blacksea Trade.
30-04-1894 , Collied with the German Steamer Deutschland and sank about 4 miles from Ronne, crew saved.
