Certainly not a local boat, seen at Whitby 20/10/2004.
I think she became CHARLOTTE MAY H7 and later GLEANER II CN777.
Where is our trawler expert?

Well that's a wee bit of a clue George......

She was built in 1987 at St Monans, by James N Miller as the Charlotte May (H 7 [Hull] ).
Dim 78 x 22 x 10 ft. 184 Gross. 67.08 Net.
Trawler. Fitted with a Caterpillar 3508TA Engine of 784 hp.

She was sold between November 2002 and November 2003 and renamed GLEANER.
Registration changed to N 777 which is Newry.
Her Owner in 2004 was Tommy Flynn, Connemara, Stronvaar Road, Campbeltown, Argyll PA28 6RB.

A later change to a Campbeltown [CN] registration would make sense.

Still operational as CN777. GLEANER.
