IMME OLDENDORFF

A very late sighting for a 1968 vessel, here she is in KG Dock on 02/08/2002 but she lasted for another 9 years!
1968 by Helsingor Vaerft as DORTE SKOU, renamed JYTTE SKOU after lengthening
Became IMME OLDENDORFF in 2002, 2003 IMME, 2008 ROSE II, broken up Alang 02/2011, not a bad innings, 43 years

More or less matching the career of the DITTE SKOU (viewtopic.php?f=43&t=11338) including OLDENDORFF opertion similarly late in her life, which lasted for almost 40 years.

And that's only half the story..........Built as Dorte Skou by Helsingor Skibsvaerft og Maskinbyggeri A/S, Helsingor in 1968.

A new Forward and Cargo section was added in May 1982 by Nippon Kokan K. K., Asano Dockyard, Yokohama. The bridge appears to have been heightened as well as a new Boiler being fitted so she was practically a 'New' ship fitted to carry 532 TEU.
