I was Mate /Master in the sister ship Sea Avon 1978 /80. The masts & Radar scanners were handraulic. It was the first time I had ever used a radar with the ranges in Kilometres. This was for the benefit of the Rhine Pilot. We sailed as far as Dusseldorf, Duisburg and Krefeldt. comfortable ships but underpowered.
