Must have been a belated present for John who was 81 on 13th

UK prices must be astronomical if its cheaper to build in Vietnam and transport them to the UK...........

Only six on the shop floor at Blyth, not expecting to build any more, only fit out and they only have orders for some small boats for the aircraft carriers at Rosyth.
Nothing new really with Dutch builders having hulls built in a sister yard in Romania and towed to Holland for fitting out. Damen recently had a big shipment of 20 plus hulls from their Far East yards to Rotterdam. Built to the basic design of their type they are the fitted to owners specs and requirements. and they can complete the job quickly
