ALTENAVI

A rarity at Hull nowadays, a geared general cargo vessel built in the 80's. ALTENAVI arriving in ballast from Ellesmere Port this evening.

Well caught, Patrick, I see she was Brazilian built and owned as ALINE RAMOS. I logged her at Immingham as ANDREAS P on 25/07/2000 but alas no photo, I can't think why!

Has a slight resemblance to a SD14?

The bow form and general hull lines, yes, but needs another hold aft :)

I thought the 'Hold' Aft was the Olympic size Swimming/Diving Pool :D, possibly only on the Greek vessels.

She has done well, there can't be many left of this traditional style vessel, she will however depart Aliaga in bite size chunks if she doesn't accidentally sink on the way there whilst fully insured ;) Just saying.

And sailing in tonight's fading light. ABP list has Aliaga as destination, ships AIS says "To Order".
