There’s a picture of GOOLE STAR on the Solent with the capsized HOEGH OSAKA in the background on the following facebook link-

Built 1965 by Hepworth, Paull, yard no. 90. (Some sources have her as built 1970.)

Here are more pictures of the well-travelled GOOLE STAR.
In Mode Wheel Locks, Manchester in 1982. She was possibly operated by Bulk Cargo Handling Services, Liverpool, at the time.

On the Thames, having passed under Westminster Bridge, 1991.

On the River Fal in 2003, alongside the Fraserburgh registered fishing vessel MARIAMA K (FR242). She was owned by Cornish Calcified Seaweed, Truro at the time.

Does anyone have a picture of her actually in Goole?

At Newport, Isle of Wight on 28/07/10, discharging aggregate. As far as I know she is the only trading vessel to go right up the river to Newport.

.... and by possibly the only ship photographer to still go right up the river to Newport :)
Good to see her in still in use, a well-travelled barge.
