Newark Pub ex RIL ELSIE

The Newark Pub Barge was docked yesterday at Dean's yard on the River Hull, for hul inspection after many years upriver. Sorry was not able to get down for photos.
Full history here, 97 years old this year (the barge, not Dennis)

That's a splendid picture of Ril Elsie at Hull and I'd like to claim that it was mine, but someone else deserves the credit this time George.

That's odd, Dennis, it was one of a pair, the other taken on same day from the silo front so showing more of the grain ship.

Nice pub - had some good beer/cider on her when down in Newark. ;)
