Yes, there is a full stop after the G, and rendered such by Equasis. However, I refuse to follow the Miramar practice of adding a full stop after every capital letter suffix .... except when i need to use their exact name search facility! Nor do I accept that the addition of the full stop to the GERHEIN G counts as a renaming, as so treated by Equasis!

HEINRICH G is sister ship to ATHOS, seen on the Trent on the same day.

Now, repeat after me: One Komarno .... two Komarno .... three Komarno .... four!
Five Komarno .... six Komarno ..... and that's all!

With a Full Stop, Ron.

I'm with you though, I hate having to try loads of options when looking for some names in Miramar. Don't get me wrong, Miramar is priceless but the way they put in full stops and spaces can be a pain.

Yes, you've reminded me about what I said previously, as shown above.
Agree about occasional difficulty finding exact names in Miramar.
That is where their facility to check partial names can be useful - pity we have to give full words/numbers only in NEM
Partial names trace can also be useful when we can make out only a few letters of a name in a photo.

I am happy to use the full stop in a name when it is used as for her new name C. ENDEAVOUR.
