HMS Alcaston was one of 2 Ton class minesweepers refitted at Blyth for the Australian Navy she became HMAS Snipe and was scrapped at Sydney in 1985. Seen here on £ July 1962.

Alongside the 16,398 Gross Bulk Carrier CHAPEL RIVER which was launched on the !* May 1962 (18th) and completed by September 1962. River Line, London.
