launched by Gregsons in 1974, one of 4 Clovelly class fleet tenders built there and fitted as diving tenders. Sold in 6/2003 to a Colin Simmons.

Gregsons built 4 fleet tenders - Invergordon became Ironbridge which was also known as YOYO. I am not aware of any other naval related craft they built.
Ilchester was sold to H-Pac Services 2004. Ironbridge sunk as a target 2004. Ixworth became Amazon Hope II after refit at Barrow in 2004. Instow was sold to Simmons in 2003 and I suggest Miramar is wrong as to scrapping so soon aftterwards.

The trawler was PRINCESS ANNE and I think she was completed by Clelands

Built as: PRINCESS ANNE
Yard: Gregson, Blyth
Year: 1974
IMO: 7321568
Names: 1981 POLAR PRINCE - 1997 SOUTH PRINCESS
End: 28/07/2006
Fate: Broken up
Data courtesy of Miramar

1982 Converted to a research vessel
1997 Reverted to a trawler
I have this photo tucked away in my files. Source unknown.

Spot on, sir, I had overlooked this fine Hull stern trawler. Gregon managed to complete her hull only before going bust and Swan Hunter completed her at the old Cleland yard as you write. LR gives her a builder number D.10 which is a bit of a puzzle for Gregson so as Paul writes there must have been other craft after the 4 tenders.
