A fine view of this van den Tak's salvage vessel, ex 'Bar' class naval vessel
Thanks to Paul Hood and 'Leroy' in the Netherlands for unravelling which one she was when shown on Riversea

Built in 1940 at Blyth Dry Dock & Shipbuilding Company Ltd., Blyth (number 266)
L x B x D = 54,61(46,62) x 9,77 x 5,18(4,42) meters.
Triple expansion 3 cyl. steam engine from North Eastern Marine Engineering Company Ltd., Sunderland, 750 i.h.p.
Lifting power 10 tons.
Launched on February 8th, 1940.
1940: "Barcote Z 52", Royal Navy
1964: "Bison", W.A. van den Tak's Bergingsbedrijf N.V., Rotterdam
1969: Broken up at Kerkhove Holland N.V., Zwijndrecht.

She was sold in April 1963 to NVScheepsweft presumed for scrapping but then sold on for futher service.
