As AFFLUENCE she was owned by Husband's Shipyards Ltd of Southampton.

She may be better known as THOMAS, which was to be seen in the Swansea Marina for many years when owned by Ken Thomas of Swansea.
However, she is currently lying in Sharpness Docks looking a little unloved. She had been dry-docked there in November 2010 and has probably stayed in the port ever since, status unknown.

She was completed in 1938 by Cochranes of Selby as ONER II for James Contracting & Shipping Co Ltd, London until 1939 when she was acquired by the Admiralty as the Naval Stores Dept. tug C.10. and later renamed DESTINY in 1958. She was sold to Husband’s in 1963 and renamed AFFLUENCE, sold again and renamed INFLUENCE in 1984, then THOMAS in 1991. I understand she was sold a few years ago when the owner died.

More pictures of her below.
