King Sol - 1936

King Sol - 1936

Postby Whickham » Mon Nov 03, 2014 9:31 am

Cochrane & Sons built KING SOL for Rinovia Steam Fishing in 1936 YN 1168
1961: Broken up

I am assuming that the 235 in the photo is her Admiralty number and that there weren't others with the same number.

Her fishing number was GY338 and yes this is her naval pennant number (Fy.235), requisitioned 12/09/1939, anti-submarine trawler, served in the Med in 1943, returned to owners 12/1945, broken up at Bruges.
