Better known as The Castle Barge at Newark, RIL ELSIE was completed as a dumb barge by Henry Scarr, Hessle in 1923 for millers Rishworth, Ingleby & Lofthouse, taken over by Spillers in 1928 and sold for conversion in 1980.
