Greenwell's Quay, Sunderland. Albert Weller slide, undated but probably May 1963 (before my time) when members of Teesside Ship Society visited the new, but laid-up, EGTON:

AMORIA at Teesport Oil Berths - 3 July 1974:

At North Tees Oil Jetties on the opposite bank is:
DORIC (6616564), Liberia, 45280gt, completed Yokohama 11-1966
1966 DORIC - 1985 DORIN - BU Nantong 1.5.85
The HEMITROCHUS is just visible astern of the AMORIA.

Can’t remember the name(s) of the vessel(s) that had a canny “voyage” although I have a feeling they were either Shell or BP Tankers that did the trip between South Tees and North Tees for quite a while, these voyages went on until the under River Tees pipeline was completed
I wonder if they did the occasional trip outside the limits for Tank Cleaning and to qualify for Duty Free(s) ;)
The Tankers were not Coastal but Deep Sea as in the photographs.
