Readhead's Yard post 1968 when they were taken over by Swan Hunter Shipbuilders Ltd. :?:

If location is right then suggest she is a fair match for one of the Banks as they had this very forward position of the anchor hawse, see for example

More likely one of the 31,000t tankers built at South Shields George. (Strait of Canso [90, launched 7 April 1975] or Hindustan [91, launched 12 May1976]) both for Common Bros. She's on the up-river berth (the longer of the two remaining after the early 60s redevelopment) and fills the berth, the bow being close to the shipyard boundary. I don't think that the Banks had bulbs, as this ship does.

Edit: Thanks Dennis, did not see a bulb under all that gubbins.
