What a magnificent pair of Engine Room Vents!

Never noticed them on the B/W Picture but they really stand out in colour!

(I have always felt the sunlighting of this particular print to have an ethereal quality.)

The 'Sammy', as affectionately known, lies at her normal berth off Dock Point on 27 July 1967.

One of the craft I never did a relief on although I had a look around her, coal fired Scotch Boiler and as I understood it her Triple Expansion was the same as those fitted in Smiths pre War Whalers. Can anybody confirm that please?
