Ikan Luding

IKAN LUDING finally alongside Riverside Quay 01/12/2017. I say "finally" because she has been sitting off the port for weeks, possibly even months.
I believe that she has been waiting for the POT's biomass storage facility to be commissioned. Another with a long wait has been FLORENTINE OETKER.

But no, she went out to the anchorage again at about 23:00 hours. It was a Friday, did she come in for fish & chips for the crew?

A grey, misty and freezing day (so I have been told), so images have been slightly enhanced.

Indeed . . . my guess is it's Danish Pastries instead of fish & chips or maybe they have a more immediate buyer for the cargo.

Did she ever actually unload her cargo? What a waste of time and money if not.

No, I don't believe so Richard, she wasn't in long enough each time she came in. I understand that she did come in for stores, although even then I would have thought a boat load sent out would have been cheaper.

I'm surprised the cargo hasn't gone rotten by now - she first arrived on the Tyne anchorage on 25th September 2017. The crew must be pretty bored too...
