ANN M

ANN M (5018284), Metcalf Motor Coasters Ltd, 1203gt,
completed Burntisland SB Co 9-1961
1961 ANN M - 1984 WHITBURN - 1988 WHITBURN GIRL - 1989 ANN II
wrecked at Briton Ferry 7.7.89 & BU Garston 27.5.94

An Albert Weller slide from circa July 1966. I'm sticking it in here although it doesn't actually show much of the ANN M at the Tarmac Jetty on the Tees. I'm more interested in the tanker in the background which, unfortunately, I have not been able to identify!

Still not identified that tanker, Ron?
I can try it elsewhere if you wish.

Regarding the mystery tanker, the funnel colours are those of C. Y. Tung's Island Navigation and I think the ship must be the Oceanic Champion built by Deutsche Werft in 1953 as the Mosbay for A/S Mosvold, better known as Torrey Mosvold. Tung owned her from 1965 until 1978 when she was broken up at Kaohsiung.

Good to see you here, Dave. Sure you are right. Link to her as MOSBAY here

Thanks, Dave, looks to be a good match for OCEANIC CHAMPION.
