My Dad and Grandfather were both crew on her during the war when she was based up in Scapa Flow.

I wonder where that background is. Can't quite make out the company name - JOHALSON? and Company Cement Works

Looking at it again I think it is the more straightforward JOHNSON AND COMPANY CEMENT WORKS.

I suspect this refers to Isaac Charles Johnson (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Charles_Johnson)
and the photo is their plant at Gateshead, formerly Aspdin's.

Johnsons Wharf, later operated by the Cement Marketing Company and then Steetley Denniff was right opposite 22 berth, Newcastle Quay, opposite the Ouseburn
