Lord Cit .jpg
Completed in 1950 by Wm. Pickersgill & Sons Ltd., Sunderland, for the British Electricity Authority (BEA), London.
1954 Transferred to the Central Electricity Authority (CEA), then in 1958 to the Central Electricity Generating Board (CEGB).
Demolished at Bo'ness in 1972 by P&W MacLellan Ltd.

Lord Citrine was a former Secretary to the Trade Union Congress and first Chairman of the British Electricity Authority

The Enterprise Class sailing dinghy which is vying for attention doesn't warrant a posh name!
