Thought that one of the old paper sheds at Wimbourne was coming down but it is getting a new roof and walls. They have been on since November so must have been hampered by weather and wind.
Then it looked like the old Bates staithes manager's office was coming down but it too has a new roof so there must be a new life for it
Finally a 'new' turbine has been erected within the Bates/Wimbourne area as a 'bespoke wind turbine training facility at its Bates terminal as part of a £1m investment in training provision aimed at the offshore energy sector'. It is actually one of the two which were dismantled from off Cambois last year and is 20 years old. Bespoke eh??
